As of September 15, 2024, Air Canada and the Air Line Pilot’s Association have reached a tentative agreement and avoided labor action. 

In a press release, Air Canada stated that, 

“The new agreement recognizes the contributions and professionalism of Air Canada's pilot group while providing a framework for the future growth of the airline.”
