The Maritime Employers Association has received notice that the Longshoremen’s Union of the Port of Montreal has opted to engage in a three-day strike beginning as early as 7:00 AM on Monday, September 30th, and potentially running through 6:59 AM on Thursday, October 3rd. 

This is a courtesy notice to inform you that dockage services at select ports, including rail, ship, and truck services, will be suspended during that period.

The affected terminals are:

• Viau
• Maisonneuve

Other Port of Montreal terminals will remain in operation.
