CA Introduces Retaliatory Steel and Aluminum Tariffs

In a news conference this morning, Canadian Ministers Leblanc, Joly and Champagne announced that, effective as of 12:01 am March 13th, Canada will impose 25% reciprocal tariffs on 12.6 billion on steel products, 3 billion on aluminum, and 14.2 billion on additional products (such as computers and sports equipment),  totaling 29.8 billion.

Canada is also exploring the possibility of imposing additional tariffs in response to the US tariffs on products with steel and aluminum content.
