At 4 PM, Friday, June 7th, the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA), in cooperation with the Customs and Immigration Union (CIU), decided to extend mediation talks with the Canadian Government until Wednesday, June 12th.

It's important to note that 90% of the CBSA are considered essential workers. In the event of a labor action, the border would continue to operate, albeit with a significant delay in its offered services and standard processing.
