Complete Details on 25% Canadian & Mexican Tariffs

March 3, 2025

The US government has officially confirmed that a 10% tariff on all energy and energy resources, a 25% tariff on all other imported goods from Canada, an additional 10% (to a total of 20%) tariff on goods from China, and a 25% tariff on all Mexican imported goods will come into effect at 12:01 EST on March 4th, 2025.

Canada has announced retaliatory tariffs on US goods beginning on March 4th, 2025. Details on these tariffs can be found here.

At the time of publication, Canada and Mexico have not yet announced retaliatory tariffs, but you are encouraged to watch this space for updates as they happen.
