On April 1, 2025, the grace period for late payments in the CARM Client Portal will be coming to an end. 

From now until the end of the March billing period (March 31, 2025), the CBSA will not issue late payment penalties and interest; however, beginning April 1st, 2025, all accounts with overdue balances—including those from the March 2025 statement of account (SOA)—will be subject to late payment penalties.   

Additionally, beginning April 4th, late payment interest will begin to accrue on accounts with overdue balances, and this interest will be included on the SOA for April 25, 2025. 

Finally, an account for which an SOA has not been paid as per the specified due date will be subject to collections measures.
